Ah, fuck it. I’m tired of wasting all this love on someone who doesn’t want/deserve it.
You remember when I made you happy? Very, very happy? All you had to do was let me do it again. It’s honestly just that simple. I know that sounds incredibly trite and stupid, but it isn’t. It really isn’t. The funny thing about love is how terribly uncomplicated it is, all things considered. Sometimes it takes work, and fucking-A it can be terrifying, but when somebody loves you, really loves you … well, how hard is it to look at them looking at you and feel amazed, perpetually amazed and happy, that someone thinks the sun rises and sets on your smile?
For a lot of people, that’s more than enough.
All I wanted was a second chance. Cold hearted, to think that’s asking too much.
